Experiences during a Reiki treatment can vary. Some people see beautiful colours and images that mean something to them, some may feel a light tingling sensation, others feel heat or cold in certain areas. Some feel floaty and light whilst others may feel heavy and grounded. Some people may also cry or laugh as blocked energy is released. People often fall asleep during their session. What many people enjoy about a reiki treatment is it allows them time to themselves where they aren’t ‘doing’ but just ‘being’. Clients have reported feeling more clear, peaceful, relaxed and lighter in themselves.
Drinking water before and after a therapy is encouraged to support the bodies adjusting energies. Each session lasts approx 1 hour.
Reiki is complementary to western medicine–not an alternative.
